Business consulting program North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW): Advice on business start-ups and takeovers
The NRW business consulting program offers specific advice and support for your start-up.
If you want to start a company or take over the majority in a company, you can take advantage of the support of the North Rhine-Westphalia Business Consulting Program (BPW NRW).
You will receive grants if you seek advice from freelance consultants on setting up or taking over a business. The development, testing and implementation of the start-up concept prior to execution is funded. We assume the costs for the consulting service for up to four daily rates for a start-up and for up to six daily rates for a takeover. The amount of funding is 50 percent of the costs incurred, at a maximum of 400 euros.
For recipients of unemployment benefit II, university graduates and those returning to work with low incomes, 80 per cent are subsidized, also at a maximum of 400 euros.
When setting up a small business, a special consulting service is available: the Consultation Circle. Combining group and individual consulting, a consultation circle provides you with access to experienced start-up consultants to assist you with your project. In addition, 50 per cent of a day’s work is subsidised (up to a maximum of 400 euro); for those on unemployment benefits (I and II), those who are university graduates, and those returning to work on a low income, 90 per cent of the cost is subsidised, up to a maximum of 720 euro.
We recommend you start by contacting your local Startercenter NRW, or another contact point for the programme, for a free consultation.
You will find further information on how to do this on the IBP mbH website. For more details on crafts start-up projects please see the LGH website.
The model contract and the advisory guidelines for the program can also be found on the Startercenter NRW website.
